Members receive invitations to CSTA science socials, low cost or free workshops, and conferences. Active members receive our newsletters, the biannual Connecticut Journal of Science Education, timely email blasts about events and opportunities around the state, and information about teacher awards, and science education grants.

The 25-26 membership year runs from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.

Members who renewed in May or June will have memberships extended to June 30 of the following school year.

Membership fees must be paid before member only events(i.e. conferences) can be registered for.

New members - please choose the appropriate membership level below.
Renewing members - Please log in to your existing account to avoid duplicate records. Renewals will be easier to process once you have logged in. You will be able to request a password reset if needed.
Bundle Members - Bundles are discounted group memberships for grades, departments, districts, etc. Renewals are processed through the bundle administrators account. Discounted group memberships for whole schools or districts can be arranged by contacting Cindy Wilbur, membership chair at ctsciteachers@gmail.com.

Payment Options -

1) FASTEST Pay online with a credit card. (If your district will reimburse you, you can print an invoice/receipt from your account.)

2) FAST Paying by school purchase order. Renew or join online and choose "invoice me". Share the invoice emailed to you with your district. You district can send a pdf/scan of the PO to ctsciteachers@gmail.com addressed to Membership Chair and a check to the address on the PO. Please ask them to include the name of the member/teacher and the invoice number. Your membership will be activated upon receiving the emailed PO and you will not have to wait for the check to arrive and be recorded.

3) SLOW Paying by check. Renew or join online and choose "invoice me". Send a copy of the invoice and a check to the address on the invoice. Your membership will be activated after it is picked up from our PO box.

1. First Year Teachers - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Discounted membership for beginning teachers in their first assignment. (certified, DSAP, ARC) One year only.

2. Pre-service teacher - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Membership year starts on July 1. May/June registrations will be extended through the following membership year.

3. Regular Membership - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st
